ALIVE & CITY YMAP PACK IV


This pack has all my maps converted to ymap, some of the maps have been specially redesigned for ymap use. Because you 
can not put in peds with ymap i have chosen chairs and benches on which the peds can appear. Unfortunately you can not 
put all maps in the game at the same time, then some maps will have less objects. The textures of some gameworld objects
will be then block-shaped. That's why I put together some packages so you can choose the worlds you want without having 
problems. Most maps make use of Jedijosh920 sitting mod & real working Hotdog Vendors so use this mods too!

What's new in version IV

Added new maps to the pack; Castle V, Caveland & Lucky Shores are now part of the pack, older maps have been 
improved only in this ymap pack & all maps are now dynamic so you can move objects around so be careful how 
you walk. Have fun with it ;)

HOW TO INSTALL THE YMAP PACKS

Download Map Editor & Menyoo to YMap Converter 1.0.4 https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/mapeditor-2-ymap-converter and place the custom_maps folder into; 
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\Mods\update\x64\dlcpacks You can now place my dlc.rpf packs in here. Then go to your dlclist, 
Mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml and extract it somewhere... edit it with notepad add this line;                <Item>dlcpacks:/custom_maps/</Item>
save it and put it back. You need OpenIV to do this and to work with ymaps. If you wish to make your own custom map selection follow this method; Go with OpenIV 
to the custom_maps folder and search for this line; mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\custom_maps\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\_citye\maps\custom_maps.rpf\ click on edit [OpenIV] 
and then right click a blank area where the files are displayed, and choose "Import OpenFormat", an import screen with a blue line will appear to import the xml ymap 
files from my folder. Close OpenIV and you have now compiled your own ymap DLC folder. Don't place more than 4/5 big maps in the custom maps folder otherwise 
there will be texture problems with some world objects, also some maps will miss some objects. Most ymaps requires Map Builder Community 1.04 SP or later, more about 
this below


HOW TO USE MAP BUILDER WITH MY YMAPS

You can install Map Builder fully automatic with the OpenIV package installer but I'll just explain it manually.
Download & place Map Builder into the dlcpacks folder (C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\Mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mapbuilder)
Then go to your dlclist with OpenIV; Mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml, extract it somewhere and...
Add this line to your dlclist for Map Builder;		<Item>dlcpacks:/mb_addons/</Item>
and replace it back. (because Map Builder and the game has become larger, the DLCs are at the max, so for later versions after MB 1.04 you need 
a gameconfig to get Map Builder 2.1.1 or later working) search on https://www.gta5-mods.com/ for best recent config).


USE THE MOST RECENT OBJECT LIST

You need also an updated objectlist, you can use the objectlist from Ferret_3 if you want but i work with my own objectlist for the ease of use, it contains also 
the props that you will need for the Map Builder 2.1.1 mod and it has all other objects from all the current DLC's [Diamond Casino/Heist]. So put the objectlist 
& also the vehicle and pedlist into the scripts folder. If you install Map Builder automatically, the props for the latest version are also added to your current 
objectlist, which is useful to know if you are using the Ferret_3 object list. Have also the Object Spawn Unlocker 1.1 in your GTA 5 base directory to get more 
objects [don't use it with Menyoo].

Alive Pack - This is for the northern part of the map.
City  Pack - This file is for the soutern part of the map.
Look in the packs which worlds are in the dlc

If you would like to view the original maps, then look at the GTA5-MODS website to download them there. 
Use Map Editor then for loading the maps separately. Have Fun with this package!

Changes

Bar & Beachhouses 1.3 has now also dynamic objects and received some new wallart from the Diamond Casino/Heist
+ the are new lights in the bar + many bug fixes.

Land Act Reservoir 1.6 has 2 new houses on the lake and most trees have been checked again to see if they were 
planted properly. (Yes they are almost all checked 1 by 1 :) plus minor bug fixes.

The trees in the Lighthouse Area 1.2.1 have been checked again to see if they were completely planted into the ground.

Sandy Shores 1.8.1  Trevors house has been refurbished and now there are new paintings & props from the Diamond Casino/Heist 
DLC. The crane has been removed and the ymap has been improved; better drughouse & pizzeria. The market stall in the fishing 
village has been corrected, the tree trunks along a road are now in better position and the lampposts on the boulevards have 
been set straight. The submarine for the ymap version has been replaced by a Dingy because the sub doesn't work with ymap & 
more different vehicles can now appear in the map.

Grapeseed Alive 1.6 McKenzies airfield house has received new paintings & items from the Diamond Casino/Heist DLC.

Paleto Bay 1.6.1 The abandoned residence has some new props & paintings from the Diamond Casino/Heist update and there 
are some bugfixes. There are more objects dynamic in this ymap (the trunk stacks along the road are now also dynamic).

Vinewood Hills Alive 1.6 The cafe & restaurant have received new paintings & items from the Diamond Casino/Heist update
+ some bug fixes.

Riverview 1.3.1 All villa's have now new paintings & items from the Diamond Casino DLC. The carpet in a bedroom has now 
been laid correctly and a towel has been moved in the right place.

Car Factory 1.3 Removed an object that was left behind incorrectly and a car parts rack that went through the wall was also 
fixed. There are some new paintings in the car factory of the Diamond Casino DLC. The ventilation systems came through the 
roof and are now set at a good height and a painting has been added in the canteen. A sliding door is has been set to the 
correct height for the cars down ymap.

Tow Truck Garage 1.2 There is now a signboard near the entrance to the garage and some new props have been added from the 
Diamond Casino DLC. The ymap in the latest version was not the correct one and has been restored. A part of the roof has been put 
straight and the carriers of the lamps have also been repaired and even all the lamps have been leveled.

Caveland 1.2.1 Fixed a height bug for an iron construction beam that carries the bridge. There is also a wooden wall fixed, one 
part was skewed by the ymap conversion and I corrected some minor bug fixes. The gates at the dock now open better if you want 
to moor with a boat. More benches & tables are dynamic and two flags have been added to the flagpoles. A wall at the kitchen 
inside the restaurant has also been set up again.

Castle V 1.3.1  A block had been left somewhere on a beach that has now been cleaned up. The ladder outside the castle has now 
been set to the correct height and some blocks have been corrected. The windows in the hall are also set to the correct height. 
The inner & outer walls of the towers have been relaid and are now set straight, some floors have been leveled and there are 
some new paintings from the Diamond Casino/Heist DLC.

Lucky Shores 1.2 A napkin holder was still on the floor and is back in the snack cart & a lamp suspension came through the floor
and is now hidden in a plant. The casino now also contains items from the Diamond Casino/Heist DLC [better arcade machines] and 
there is a small funfair near the building.
